Total Seal's Gapless® Diesel Rings are designed to significantly improve engine efficiency, increasing horsepower and torque while reducing blowby. They are suitable for various applications, including OE rebuilds, towing, industrial use, street performance, and high-horsepower engines up to 1,000 HP for competition. These exclusive diesel ring designs help unlock the full potential of engines by improving efficiency and increasing power. They are available in Gapless® 2nd or Conventional 2nd Ring configurations. The top and second rings are made from Martensitic Ductile Iron, the strongest iron available, specially heat-treated and coated with CrN (Chromium Nitride) for extreme wear resistance and corrosion protection. Depending on the application, two different oil ring configurations are used: Nitride Steel with a chrome face or Iron with a chrome face. Both offer long-lasting sealing to provide cleaner, longer-lasting oil.
