The VIS Racing TS Style Carbon Fiber Hood is engineered to provide a performance-oriented aesthetic for your 2020-2023 Tesla Model Y. Crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, this hood utilizes a high-grade epoxy resin and is finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective Poly Shield polyurethane coating for a durable, high-gloss appearance. Its two-part construction includes a smooth, one-piece underside shell that integrates with the top carbon fiber layer to significantly enhance structural integrity. VIS Racing employs a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for many of its carbon fiber parts, including this hood, resulting in components that are 10-20% lighter than previous manufacturing methods while simultaneously improving durability. The edges are meticulously hand-smoothed to ensure a flawless finish all around. Professional installation is recommended for this component. Due to the specialized nature of this part, hood pins are required for secure mounting. This product is intended for off-road use, unless local and state laws permit otherwise. Please note that shipping for this oversized item will be handled via LTL Freight Service, with pickup typically scheduled within 5-7 business days.
