The Kenne Bell TS1000-05-IN1C is a Stage 1, 2.6L intercooled supercharger system engineered specifically for the 2005-2009 Ford Mustang GT equipped with the 4.6L engine. This comprehensive "bolt-on and drive" system includes everything required for installation, such as a Boost-A-Pump, a factory flash tune, a cool air kit, a 90mm mass air meter, and 39lb fuel injectors. The intercooled setup features a Kenne Bell Hi Density Intercooler with increased cooling rows and fins for enhanced efficiency, resulting in cooler air charge temperatures (up to 41° cooler than underhood temps) and requiring less horsepower to drive compared to Roots-type systems. The kit also includes a billet bypass valve assembly with a "valet mode." The system is self-lubricated, eliminating the need to tap the oil pan or run oil lines, and it uses no engine oil. This Stage 1 kit is optimized for stock vehicles or those with only a cat-back exhaust. For vehicles with further modifications like headers, mid-pipes, or camshafts, Kenne Bell recommends their "TUNER" kit (part number TS1000-05-TUN). The supplied calibration is developed by Kenne Bell and does not require expensive custom tuning for stock vehicles or those with a cat-back exhaust.
