The Standard Motor Products UF-240 is a distributorless ignition coil designed for a direct OE fit, form, and function. It features 100% pure copper windings for improved durability and higher resistance to internal shorts. The thermoplastic housing withstands heat stress, while the internal core made from grain-oriented electrical steel limits loss factor to reduce heat and ensure endurance. Tin-plated brass terminals enhance electrical contact and corrosion resistance, and high-dielectric epoxy is injected to prevent moisture intrusion or thermal breakdown.
