TSP 224/228 .600/.600 112 LSA Camshaft

The Texas Speed & Performance TSP 224/228 camshaft features a 224 intake and 228 exhaust duration with .600 lift on both lobes and a 112 LSA. This design is optimized for beehive and double valve springs and offers increased exhaust duration. It's a popular choice for streetable boost engines and provides significant power gains, estimated at 45-55+ HP in N/A applications and even more with boost. This camshaft is best suited for 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, and 6.0 engines and requires a desired compression ratio of 9.5:1 or higher. For proper installation and performance, PAC 1219 or TSP/PAC Dual .660 Valve Springs are recommended, along with an aftermarket stall converter of 2600+ RPM. Upgraded rear gears are not required. The operating RPM range for this camshaft is 1500-6600 RPM, offering great drivability with stock-like manners and a noticeable lope at idle.
