This camshaft is optimized for larger displacement cathedral-port LS engines, such as the 5.7L and 6.0L variants, and is designed to support higher boost levels for aggressive performance tuning. Key specifications for this camshaft include a duration at .050 lift of 228 degrees intake and 236 degrees exhaust, with a valve lift of .600 inches on both intake and exhaust. The lobe separation angle (LSA) is 114 degrees with a 2-degree advance. It is best suited for engines with a desired compression ratio between 9.5:1 and 10.5:1, and operates effectively in the 2000-6600 RPM range. Installation of the TSP Cathedral Stage 3 Turbo Camshaft requires specific supporting components for optimal performance and reliability.
