The Texas Speed TSP LS3 Stage 2 Camshaft is engineered for LS3 and LS2 engines equipped with L92/LS3 rectangle port cylinder heads, offering a significant performance upgrade. With a duration of 229/244 and valve lift of .629"/.615" on a 112 LSA, this camshaft is designed to deliver enhanced power output, particularly in the 3,000 RPM and higher range. This camshaft is ideal for naturally aspirated, boosted, street-performance, or race applications seeking more power than less aggressive profiles. It is a direct fit for LS3/LS2 engines with compatible rectangle port cylinder heads, providing a noticeable increase in performance without compromising excessive streetability. The 3-bolt camshaft configuration requires appropriate timing components if converting from a 1-bolt setup. For optimal performance and to complement the camshaft's operating range, an aftermarket stall speed torque converter of at least 2,600 RPM is required for automatic transmission applications. Additionally, a TSP/PAC .660 Dual Valve Spring kit is recommended to support the camshaft's higher lift.
