TSP LT1 Stage 1 V2 Camshaft

The Texas Speed & Performance LT1 Stage 1 V2 camshaft is engineered for LT1 6.2L engines, offering a significant performance upgrade for enthusiasts seeking increased horsepower and torque. With a lobe profile of 222/236 degrees duration and .610"/.610" lift, a 113 LSA, and a 109 ICL, this camshaft provides a good drivability experience with a noticeable but not overly aggressive idle "lope." It is designed to achieve approximately 89hp and 18 ft-lbs of gain, reaching a total of 580HP/523TQ. This camshaft is factory converter friendly and does not require upgraded rear gears. However, it does necessitate the removal of the factory AFM/DOD functionality, meaning a DOD/AFM delete kit is required for installation. Additionally, all TSP LT V2 camshafts require the Variable Valve Timing (VVT) to be locked out using a phaser lockout kit. The +32% fuel lobe standard on this camshaft requires the use of a lash cap during installation, though it is important to note that a lash cap should not be used with an LT4 fuel pump. For optimal performance and reliability, Texas Speed & Performance recommends using Manton conical valve springs or their own TSP dual .660 spring kit. They have designed and tested these camshafts on their SuperFlow 902 engine dyno using stock 6.2L LT1 engines to ensure a safe power curve without piston-to-valve clearance issues. The operating RPM range for this camshaft is between 2400-6800 RPM.
