The Texas Speed & Performance TSP Stage 2 LS3 N/A Camshaft is a mid-duration camshaft designed for power applications from 3000 RPM and above. It offers a balance between increased performance and streetability, featuring a 229/244 duration, .629"/.615" lift, and a 112 LSA with a 109 ICL. This camshaft is best suited for 6.0L and 6.2L engines equipped with rectangular port heads and aims for a desired compression ratio of 10.5:1 or higher. Installation of this camshaft requires specific supporting modifications for optimal performance and reliability. An aftermarket stall speed torque converter of 2600 RPM or higher is mandatory, and the use of TSP/PAC .660 Dual Valve Springs is recommended. This camshaft is only offered in a 3-bolt design; vehicles with a single-bolt factory camshaft will require a three-bolt conversion kit, including a 4x upper timing gear and ARP camshaft bolt kit. Upgraded timing sets are also available. This camshaft is projected to yield gains of 84 horsepower and 27 ft-lbs of torque, while still retaining great drivability with a noticeable chop at idle. It is compatible with LS3, LS2, L92, and other similar rectangle port LS engines.
