The Texas Speed & Performance Stage 3 LS3 N/A Camshaft (TSP-231246-111-3B) is engineered for enthusiasts aiming for a more aggressive camshaft profile that delivers substantial power and top-end performance improvements. With its 231/246 duration and .640"/.615" lift specifications, this camshaft is a significant upgrade over milder options, offering enhanced power output. Designed for LS3 or LS2 engines utilizing L92/LS3 rectangle port cylinder heads, this cam is best suited for 6.0L and 6.2L displacements. It requires a desired compression ratio of 10.5:1 or higher for optimal performance. The operating RPM range for this camshaft is 2000-6900 RPM, and it is projected to deliver an impressive 88 horsepower and 28 ft-lbs of torque increase. The manufacturer also notes that it provides great street-able drivability once properly tuned. For vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, a minimum stall speed converter of 3,200 RPM is recommended. This camshaft features a 3-bolt design. If your vehicle has a single-bolt factory camshaft, a three-bolt conversion kit will be necessary. This kit should include the correct 4x upper timing gear for the camshaft position signal and an ARP camshaft bolt kit.
