TSP Stage 4 High Lift LS Truck Camshaft

The Texas Speed & Performance TSP Stage 4 High Lift LS Truck Camshaft is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of 1999-2013 GM Gen 3/4 LS-based truck and SUV engines, including 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L Vortec applications. With its 111 LSA and extended duration, the Stage 4 provides a more noticeable choppy idle compared to the Stage 3 variant. While this configuration may result in a slight decrease in low-RPM power, it is effectively compensated for by the installation of a recommended 3000+ RPM stall torque converter. Texas Speed & Performance designed this camshaft with proprietary lobe profiles utilizing maximum valvetrain stability and longevity while aiming for quiet operation. It is compatible with both beehive and dual valve springs. The kit is available with the camshaft only, or as a comprehensive package including PAC 1218 Single Beehive Springs, tophat valve seals with integrated spring seats, and 7.400" long 5/16" diameter Chromoly pushrods. A gasket kit option is also available, featuring timing cover, water pump gaskets, damper seal, and crankshaft damper bolt. Important considerations for installation include the requirement for a DOD/AFM delete on equipped engines and a VVT delete kit for VVT engines. If installing on an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3-bolt conversion kit will be necessary and is sold separately. For optimal performance and drivability, a professional tune is highly recommended. The manufacturer estimates an increase of 65-70+ horsepower.
