TTE440L Hybrid Turbocharger 2.0 TSI EA888.3

The TheTurboEngineers TTE440L 5154 is an advanced hybrid turbocharger, built upon an original IHI unit for the 2.0 TSI EA888.3 engine found in various Audi models. This Stage 3 upgrade is engineered for enhanced spool and response, with a proven potential of up to 440 HP on 99 RON fuel, requiring Stage 3 ECU tuning and fuel system support. This turbocharger features a larger, TTE Billet Milled 6+6 blade compressor wheel (51mm inlet) and a high-flow, low-mass 9-blade turbine wheel (54mm outlet). It also incorporates CNC porting on the compressor and turbine housings, and a TTE CNC silencer delete to improve exhaust flow and sound. For enhanced reliability under high loads, it is equipped with a TTE reinforced 360° bearing pack. Each unit is individually balanced, with components balanced separately and the CHRA dynamically balanced to 250,000 RPM on a VSR machine, supplied with a serial-numbered balance certificate. The TTE440L is designed for a plug-and-play installation, retaining the original actuator and diverter valve (which are transferred from the customer's existing turbo). It is compatible with Audi A4 B8.5/B9, A5 B8.5/B9, A6 C7/C8, Q5 B8.5/B9, and Q7 4M models equipped with the 2.0 TSI/TFSI EA888.3 longitudinal engine. A new diverter valve is recommended upon installation. An optional TTE Heat Shield thermal insulation is also available. Important considerations for installation include the fact that this service is performed on the customer's original IHI turbocharger, and TheTurboEngineers does not rebuild the electronic actuator or diverter valve; these are transferred. The original turbo must be complete, including the actuator and silencer, but without the diverter valve. ECU remapping (Stage 3) and High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) support are required post-installation.
