The TTE450 is a performance upgrade turbocharger specifically engineered for the 2.0 TSI EA888.1 engine. It begins as a brand new, standard IHI turbocharger which is then meticulously dismantled and enhanced by TTE Turbo. This upgrade process aims to improve performance and efficiency over the stock unit. Key features of the TTE450 include its robust construction and suitability for the 2.0 TSI EA888.1 engine. The turbocharger is offered as an upgrade option for various VAG models, indicating its broad applicability within that platform. This shielding is constructed from non-woven silicate fiber surrounded by welded foil and rigid stainless steel insulation foil, offering high mechanical and vibration resistance. It is important to note that the thermal heat shield isolation add-on is not sold separately and can only be purchased concurrently with a new or upgrade turbocharger from TTEGLOBAL. The addition of this shielding may also extend the order processing time, with up to an additional four weeks being possible. This special order item is sold on a non-cancelable, non-exchangeable, non-returnable, and non-refundable basis.
