The The Turbo Engineers TTE540 upgrade turbochargers are designed for the AMG M276 3.0 V6 motor, specifically for C43 and E43 models. These turbos retain the original housings and components but feature a highly efficient next-gen billet compressor wheel with a 45mm inlet and a TTE high-flow turbine wheel with a 43mm outlet. The inlets are CNC machined for a perfect transition to the larger compressor, and the exhaust turbines are enlarged for reduced backpressure and improved performance. Each turbocharger is precisely balanced using advanced techniques, including VSR balancing up to 250,000 RPM, exceeding OEM standards. This ensures longevity and optimal acoustics. The upgrade also includes a TTE motorsport bearing pack for increased durability. Important considerations for installation include the necessity of software recalibration after installation. Additionally, if sending used turbochargers for the upgrade process, TTE does not recondition the electronic actuator or diverter valves; these must be sent complete with the turbo.
