TTE550 N55 Upgrade Turbocharger

The The Turbo Engineers TTE550 is a performance upgrade turbocharger for the N55 engine, built to provide greater power and efficiency. This unit retains the original turbocharger housing but replaces the compressor wheel with a TTE milled aluminum wheel featuring state-of-the-art 7+7 blade geometry for increased power output. The original exhaust turbine is swapped for a larger, lightweight 9-blade TTE-designed turbine, which results in lower exhaust gas backpressure and improved performance, while still maintaining good spool response. Durability is enhanced through the integration of a TTE motorsport upgrade bearing system. The turbochargers undergo a rigorous balancing process: individual parts are balanced at slow speeds (up to 2800 RPM), and then the assembled CHRA is dynamically balanced at high speeds (up to 250,000 RPM) using an in-house VSR machine, exceeding OEM standards. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test result document. Key features include genuine housings and components, a highly efficient next-gen billet compressor geometry, optimized compressor cover machining clearances, and a genuine diverter valve. It offers fitment as original, plug-and-play installation, a TTE billet larger compressor wheel with a 56mm inlet, a TTE high-flow bigger turbine, and a motorsport bearing pack. The TTE550 is proven to handle up to 550 PS. Software recalibration is required after installation. This product is made in Germany and comes with a lifetime replacement program.
