TTE580 Turbocharger

The The Turbo Engineers TTE580 turbocharger is a high-performance upgrade designed for the BMW B58 inline-six-cylinder engine. It is based on an original turbocharger, but features a larger, more efficient 7+7 blade billet compressor wheel with extended tip technology and a 55.5mm inlet. The original exhaust turbine is replaced with a high-flow, 9-blade item to reduce exhaust gas temperatures (EGT) and increase power potential while maintaining a responsive boost profile. This upgrade is capable of producing 550+ horsepower with optimal supporting hardware, and has been proven at 580hp on 102ron fuel. Construction involves precision engineering, including milling the compressor cover to match the new compressor profile. The turbochargers undergo rigorous balancing, starting with individual parts balanced at low speeds, followed by dynamic balancing of the assembled core at speeds up to 250,000 RPM using a VSR machine, exceeding OEM standards. Each unit comes with a serial-numbered balance test result document. This turbocharger is specifically designed for vehicles equipped with 6-Port Heads and will not fit 2-Port Heads. It is also noted that this product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle.
