TTE650 Pair Turbochargers

The The Turbo Engineers TTE650 is a pair of upgraded turbochargers engineered for the Porsche 996 3.6L engine. This performance upgrade uses original BorgWarner K16 turbochargers as the foundation, integrating TTE billet compressors with extended tip technology for enhanced power and responsive spool. The original K16 turbines are modified by clipping the blades to improve flow and reduce exhaust gas temperatures, complemented by a motorsport-type bearing system. Each turbocharger undergoes rigorous balancing, starting with individual components balanced at slow speeds, followed by dynamic balancing of the assembled CHRA up to 250,000 RPM using an in-house VSR machine. This ensures a level of equilibrium that surpasses OEM standards. A balance test result document is provided with each unit. The kit is designed for plug-and-play installation and is capable of supporting up to 650 PS. Installation of these turbochargers requires software recalibration.
