TTE720 2.9 TFSI Upgrade Turbocharger Pair

The 034Motorsport TTE720 is a pair of high-performance upgrade turbochargers engineered for the EA839 2.9 TFSI engine powering the B9/B9.5 Audi RS4 and RS5. These units are designed to deliver a significant increase in power and response by utilizing larger TTE billet milled compressor wheels (7+7 blade, 51mm inlet) and TTE 9-blade high-flow turbines (47mm outlet) compared to the factory turbochargers. The housing is CNC milled to accommodate these larger wheels. Precision balancing is a critical aspect of TTE's upgrade process. Each turbocharger undergoes multi-plane balancing at slow speeds and high-speed dynamic balancing up to 250,000 RPM using a VSR machine, ensuring an equilibrium that surpasses OEM standards. This meticulous balancing contributes to longevity and improved acoustics. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test result document. However, a software recalibration is required for proper operation. It is also recommended to fit new OEM diverter valves when installing these upgrade turbochargers. For maximum performance, upgrade downpipes, sport cats, and a full exhaust system are recommended, along with a WAGNER upgrade intercooler if power outputs around 600-650 PS on 99 RON are targeted.
