TTE777 6660 EVO Hybrid Turbocharger

The TTE777 6660 EVO is a class-leading performance hybrid turbocharger from TheTurboEngineers (TTE), specifically engineered for the Audi RS3 8V.2/8Y and TTRS 8S models equipped with the DAZA, DNWA, and DNWC 2.5 TFSI EVO engines. It features a larger, state-of-the-art 7+7 blade TTE billet compressor wheel and a lightweight, 9-blade TTE-designed turbine, which significantly improves performance by reducing exhaust gas backpressure. The unit also incorporates a proven TTE motorsport upgrade bearing system for enhanced durability. Significant gas flow improvements are achieved through CNC porting of the exhaust manifold to precisely match the OEM head flange gasket and smoothing the transition within each exhaust runner. This optimization increases gas speed and flow, driving the larger turbine and compressor more effectively. When ordered new, the turbocharger includes the latest generation of BorgWarner components and features Audi's original thermal heat isolation shielding on the exhaust manifold and turbine housing to reduce engine bay temperatures and ensure optimal performance and safety. For upgrade options where the customer sends in their existing turbo, TTE will rework it, but thermal shielding may not be included unless the additional thermal isolation process is purchased. This turbocharger requires software recalibration and is known for its impressive boost response. It has been proven to achieve power figures of 590 WHP and 650 crank HP on 98 RON (USA 93) fuel, with potential for over 700 crank HP on 102 RON and over 850 crank HP using E85 fuel. Each unit undergoes rigorous balancing, with individual parts balanced before assembly, followed by high-speed VSR balancing of the CHRA up to 250,000 RPM, exceeding OEM standards. A serial-numbered balance test result document is supplied with every turbocharger. TTE offers a 1-year trouble-free warranty on this product. For power levels exceeding 600 HP, replacing the stock or RS sport exhaust system with a more free-flowing unit like the Milltek V2 90mm is highly recommended to mitigate backpressure issues and potential warranty concerns. The Wagner EVO3 intercooler is not recommended for use with this turbocharger; the EVO3 X is the appropriate choice for 600+ HP applications.
