The TaylorMade R9 Driver features an adjustable shaft for customizing club-face angle to achieve desired ball flight (higher right-to-left, lower left-to-right, or neutral). It includes a torque wrench for adjustments. The driver incorporates Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) for high ball speed and forgiveness on mis-hits, and Ultra-Thin Wall (UTW) technology (0.6mm walls) for weight redistribution, enabling Multi-Directional Weight Technology (MWT) and a low-and-deep Center of Gravity (CG). It's equipped with a 65-gram Fujikura Motore graphite shaft with High Inertia Tip (H.I.T.) technology for faster ball speed and increased distance.
