The Mevotech TXK6693 is a TTX series front lower ball joint engineered for high-usage applications. It features patented sintered bearings for durability and an Integri-Boot design to seal out contaminants.

The Mevotech TXK6693 is a TTX series front lower ball joint designed to enhance the reliability and service life of high-mileage or heavy-duty suspension systems. The assembly includes a larger sphere ball stud system and patented sintered bearings to optimize performance under stress. This ball joint is equipped with an Integri-Boot design, a multi-lipped seal that protects the ball pin and knuckle mating area from moisture and road debris. For ongoing maintenance, it includes a 180-degree SAE grease fitting, making regular service quick and accessible. The exterior is finished with Repel-TEK coating to provide additional corrosion resistance. Installation is simplified through the inclusion of a part-specific slotted castle nut and an easy-snap cotter pin. Note that these are directional ball joints, which must be installed with the swing oriented perpendicular to the vehicle. This component is specifically designed for 2001-2010 GM Silverado and Sierra 2500HD/3500HD models, as well as various 2000-2010 GM trucks and SUVs.
