This Tilton Single Disc Ultra-Lite Clutch/Flywheel Kit replaces stock components with a 13.6-pound assembly, reducing rotating mass by 23 pounds. This enhances power to the wheels, improves driveline efficiency, and shortens shift times. Developed by Tilton and BimmerWorld, it's ideal for track enthusiasts and club racers with moderately powered BMW E46 or E36 models. It has a torque capacity of 335 lb-ft. The 184mm (7.25-inch) single cerametallic rally-pack clutch disc (0.234" new thickness) is designed for extended service life in track use and offers more controllable modulation than other full metallic clutches. The steel flywheel features a thinner starter ring, centralizing weight and reducing the moment of inertia to 163.4 lb-in² for quicker engine revving. Primarily recommended for full race/track cars, it's also suitable for light street use, offering a track-focused driving experience. The kit includes the flywheel, clutch, annular throw-out bearing, and hardware. Installation requires a Torx T-60 socket. Made in USA.
