Tubular Front End Kit

The Team Z Motorsports tubular front end kit is a weld-in structural component designed for 1979-1993 Ford Mustangs. By replacing the stock sheet metal forward of the strut towers, the kit enables significant weight reduction of 25 lbs and clears critical space for turbocharging components or custom accessory mounting. The structure is fabricated from high-strength 4130 Chrome Molly, offering a balance of weight savings and increased rigidity for track and performance applications. This unit is supplied in an unwelded configuration with bars that are pre-fit and notched, requiring professional fabrication and welding to finalize the installation. The kit includes a removable tubular radiator support with loose tabs to accommodate non-standard radiator sizes, along with a removable lightweight bumper support. Necessary hardware is provided, including Grade 8 bolts, lock nuts, and mounting tabs for the stock fenders and bumper cover. Optional motor and mid-plate tabs are available for those utilizing specific engine mounting configurations.
