The BMR Suspension KM018 Tubular K-Member offers a lightweight and high-strength alternative to the factory K-member for 2005-2014 Ford Mustangs. Manufactured from robust 1-inch, 1-1/4-inch, and 1 ½-inch DOM tubing, this K-member is engineered to enhance front-end rigidity and provide increased clearance for large-tube headers and turbo kits, making it suitable for street performance, drag racing, and handling applications. BMR's innovative design incorporates integrated engine mounts, which replace the heavier factory mounts. This design not only contributes to significant weight reduction—20 pounds compared to the stock K-member and engine mounts—but also allows for the use of larger diameter tubing and thicker mounting plates, ensuring superior strength. The K-member is a 100-percent bolt-in component, requiring no modifications for installation, and typically takes 3-4 hours to fit.
