The Global West CTA-17L is a set of tubular lower control arms designed for 1977-1996 GM B-Body vehicles. These control arms are specifically for applications using standard coil springs. They feature a rotating spring pocket that helps re-index the spring, prevents rubbing and noise, and allows for ride height adjustments via shimming.

The arms include Del-A-Lum bushings, which are a durable, low-friction alternative to rubber or polyurethane, designed for over 100,000 miles of performance on street or track. They come pre-assembled with standard ball joints for easy servicing and include steering bump stops. The sway bar mounting plate adds support to the ball joint area, and straps reinforce the bushing housings to the tube.

The Global West CTA-17L is a premium set of tubular lower control arms engineered for 1977-1996 GM B-Body models, including the Impala, Caprice, Biscayne, and Bel Air. Key features include a rotating spring pocket, which addresses common issues associated with cut springs by providing proper spring indexing, preventing noise from rubbing, and allowing for ride height adjustments through shimming. This design ensures the spring sits correctly, distributing load evenly across the coil to prevent premature fatigue and sagging. These control arms are equipped with Global West's Del-A-Lum bushings, a high-performance replacement for traditional rubber or polyurethane bushings. Del-A-Lum bushings offer smooth operation without squeaks or bind, are designed to last over 100,000 miles, and provide optimum performance and control for both street and track use.
