The GForce SSM-1402-BLK subframe connectors are designed to enhance the structural integrity of 1979-2004 Ford Mustangs, specifically the Fox Body (1979-1993) and SN95 (1994-2004) models. They connect from the front K Member area to the rear lower torque-box area, significantly increasing body strength. By creating a solid connection, these subframe connectors facilitate superior weight transfer and improved traction, which is crucial for performance driving scenarios like autocross, road racing, and drag racing. Beyond performance gains, the SSM-1402 also helps mitigate common interior annoyances such as T-top squeaks and dash rattles, while reducing quarter panel flexing for a more rigid and quiet driving experience. Constructed with flat tubular designs for a tighter fit against the undercarriage, the front mounts feature a 1/2-inch thick steel threaded mounting plate. The included hardware kit provides specific lower control arm replacement bolts: M12 diameter for 1979-1998 models and M14 diameter for 1999-2004 models. The black powder coat finish offers durability and a clean aesthetic.
