The Tuff Country 14812K is a 4-inch Suspension Lift Kit designed for various Chevrolet and GMC K1500 4WD models from 1988 to 1998. This 4-inch lift kit is an affordable, bolt-on suspension upgrade that increases ground clearance and allows for larger tires while preserving drivetrain geometry. It features upper control arm drop brackets to maintain proper steering and suspension geometry, a one-piece sub-frame for increased strength and reduced squeaks and rattles, and integrated rear leaf springs for load handling and stability. The kit is designed for straightforward installation with factory components. Shocks are not included and must be replaced with extended shocks for proper fitment. It is designed to accommodate 33" x 12.5" tires, but factory rims will not fit; rims with 4.5" backspacing or less are required.
