Overview

The Powerflex PFF5-4650 is a tunable hybrid engine mount set for BMW E36, E46, Z3, and E90/E92/E93 M3 models. These mounts use a combination of red 65A and purple 80A urethane bushings within an aluminum housing to reduce engine vibration while providing increased strength.

The Powerflex PFF5-4650 engine mounts are a tunable, hybrid solution for BMW performance enthusiasts. By utilizing both red 65A and purple 80A urethane bushings in an aluminum assembly, these mounts effectively manage Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) while resisting the deflection common with stock rubber mounts. Performance can be tailored to your driving needs without removing the mounts from the car. The base configuration provides a street-oriented setup, while track or drift conditions can be accommodated by inserting stiffening pins into the core. This added rigidity helps prevent engine movement, protecting components like radiators from contact and ensuring more accurate power transfer and gear selection. Compatibility is specific to 6-cylinder E36 and E46 3-series models, and V8 E90/E92/E93 M3s. These mounts do not fit E46 Xi AWD models or E46 convertible models. Additionally, they are not recommended for diesel engines. These units are sold as a pair and serve as direct replacements for original BMW part numbers including 22111095444, 22116779970, 22116771361, 11811092583, 11812283798, 11817837985, 11812228298, and 11811136542.
