Description

The 123ignition TUNE-6-R-V-Datsun (USB) is a programmable electronic ignition system designed as a direct replacement for the distributor in Datsun 240, 260, and 280 models, as well as Nissan S30 (Fairlady) vehicles equipped with L24, L26, or L28 engines. This unit allows for precise tuning of your engine's advance curve via a USB connection to a notebook. It offers features such as two sets of programmable advance curves selectable by a power signal, real-time tuning capabilities ideal for dynamometer use, and an electronic dashboard displaying vital engine data like temperature, manifold pressure, tachometer, spark energy, and total advance. The system automatically detects rotation direction (CW and CCW), voltage (6V/12V), and earth type (positive/negative). It also includes two rev limiters, vacuum advance, and boost retard curves. Installation requires careful attention to dimensions and the provided installation manual. The software, compatible with MS Windows XP and later, requires a PC with a 1 GHz processor, 256 MB RAM, and a free USB port. Note that the shielded USB cable is sold separately and recommended to be a Belkin cable. The unit is designed for 6-cylinder engines and comes with an upright cap and mounting bracket.
