TUNE-6-R-V Datsun L24/L26/L28 Programmable Ignition System

The 123ignition TUNE-6-R-V-Datsun is a fully programmable ignition system designed for Datsun vehicles, specifically those equipped with L24, L26, and L28 engines found in models like the Datsun 240, 260, 280, and Nissan S30 (Fairlady). This advanced ignition system enables users to easily program their own optimal advance curves using a USB cable and a laptop. It replaces the original distributor, offering enhanced engine tuning capabilities, especially for engines where standard distributors are not readily available or for custom setups. The system is also useful for alternative fuel applications, as it allows for programming a second curve that can be switched via voltage on a yellow wire, without needing a computer. The TUNE-6-R-V-Datsun model is engineered for 6-cylinder engines and includes a straight cap and mounting bracket. It features auto-detection for rotational direction (CW and CCW) and is compatible with both 6-volt and 12-volt automotive systems, as well as positive and negative earth cars. The system offers variable contact angle, an ignition coil deactivation feature after 1 second, and two speed-dependent advance curves ranging from 500 to 8000 rpm. For turbo applications, it includes two vacuum advance curves and adjustable MAP settings. Additionally, it is equipped with two RPM limiters and allows for real-time adjustments when connected to a laptop, making it ideal for dynamometer tuning. On-board electronic gauges can display temperature (Celsius or Fahrenheit), intake manifold pressure, crankshaft RPM (0-8000), and total advance.
