The Skunk2 Racing Tuner Series Stage 3 Camshaft is a high-performance upgrade for Honda's B-series VTEC engines, engineered to maximize power output at higher RPM ranges. This Stage 3 camshaft offers significant performance gains, with reported HP gains of 25+ hp and torque gains of 18-22 lb-ft, operating in a wide RPM range of 1,500 - 9,800 rpm. It features specific intake and exhaust durations and lift, with an intake centerline of 100 ATDC and an exhaust centerline of 104 BTDC. The specified valve clearance is .007 inches for intake and .008 inches for exhaust. Upgrading to Skunk2 Racing valvetrain components is mandatory, and installation and tuning should only be performed by professional engine builders. Oversized valves should not be used with this camshaft. This camshaft is compatible with various Honda B-series VTEC engines, including the 1.7L B17A1, 1.8L B18C1 (GS-R), and 1.8L B18C5 (Type R).
