The TDI Tuning CRTD4 Tuning Box System is a state-of-the-art solution for enhancing modern turbo diesel and turbo petrol engines. Engineered in the UK, it employs advanced microprocessor technology to deliver significant increases in engine power and torque across a wide range of vehicles. The CRTD4 package is a complete tuning solution, including the CRTD4 Tuning Box System, a custom engine connection harness, and a vehicle-specific installation guide. Installation is straightforward, often taking as little as 10 minutes for 90% of applications. The system features seven performance modes, adjustable via an external LED keypad. It starts at a standard mode level 4 and can be progressively adjusted to its maximum power and torque mode (level 7) every 10 miles. For diesel vehicles, mode 1 can be selected to emphasize low-end torque, allowing drivers to utilize higher, more fuel-efficient gears for longer periods. To ensure maximum performance gains and total engine compatibility, the CRTD4 system utilizes a database of custom software tailored for over 6000 vehicle variants. This custom software, developed over TDI Tuning's 10-year history, differentiates their products from competitors offering only generic software. The harness connection has also been upgraded to the robust and secure FCI standard, ensuring reliable data transmission between the tuning box and the vehicle's ECU. An optional TDI Tuning App allows drivers to instantly change engine performance and adapt their vehicle to different situations directly from the driver's seat, offering a choice between more power or more economy.
