Tuning Silicone Turbo Inlet V2

The Cobb Tuning Silicone Turbo Inlet V2 is a direct replacement turbo inlet hose constructed from black 5-ply silicone, designed for 2008-2014 Subaru WRX, 2005-2009 Subaru Legacy GT, and 2005-2009 Subaru Outback XT models. Its custom silicone construction helps reject high engine bay temperatures, maintaining cooler intake air closer to ambient levels. The steel wire reinforced design of this turbo inlet hose prevents the common issue of hose collapse that can occur under vacuum at peak demand, while still allowing adequate flex between the engine and the intake. The V2 version has been updated for easier installation, featuring machined billet aluminum adapters for the Post-MAF hose and BPV return for a more secure fit. Changes in fittings make installation cleaner and prevent them from protruding into the inlet airway, with an improved overall path to better fit around TGV Housings. Key features include a larger diameter for potentially increased airflow delivery to the turbo, direct OEM replacement fitment, and a design for standard 2.4-inch turbo inlets. The benefits of installing this inlet hose include an increase in horsepower, decreased turbo spool time, and improved throttle response and acceleration.
