The Tactrix Openport 2.0 is a robust tuning interface designed to communicate with OBDII-compliant vehicles using the industry-standard J2534 protocol. By connecting to your vehicle's port and using a laptop with compatible software like EcuFlash, this tool allows for comprehensive ECU reflashing and diagnostic data logging. Technical specifications include a 72MHz 32-bit processor and USB 2.0 full-speed communication. The device supports CAN 2.0 (CAN/ISO15765) and K-line (ISO9141/ISO14230/dual K line) protocols, and it offers J2534 PassThru support via Windows DLL. For mobile data collection, it provides standalone datalogging directly to a microSD or microSDHC card. Fitment depends on your specific vehicle and may require a separate reflash adapter. A Mitsubishi adapter is required for pre-CAN vehicles including Evo 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, as well as select 2G DSM and 3000GT models. For Subaru, a blue reflash adapter is required for the 2002 WRX, while a white adapter is required for 2003-2005 WRX models. The 2006+ WRX, 2004+ STi, and non-turbo models like the Forester, Baja, and Legacy do not require an adapter. Evolution X models also do not require an adapter. Hardware design features include RGB status LEDs and programmable voltage pins capable of applying GND or 5V-25V to specific OBD pins.
