Description

The EQT Vortex XL Turbine Housing is a direct swap for any current Vortex turbo. This larger housing increases turbine flow, which reduces back pressure and heat. This allows for more ignition advance and greater overall flow. Performance gains of 20-40whp can be expected, with a slight increase in spool time of 200-300RPM. Full boost is still achievable around 3300RPM, but the power delivery will be smoother and more progressive. This upgrade is ideal for those seeking increased top-end power from their standard EQT Vortex turbo. The housing was used in a Golf R to achieve a 10.46-second quarter-mile at 131mph.
