The Spelab SPJN-EXS22-00001003 is a 5-inch turbo-back DPF delete exhaust system engineered for 2004.5-2007 Dodge Ram 5.9L diesel models. This system removes the restrictive factory exhaust, aiming to maximize engine efficiency, increase horsepower and torque, sharpen throttle feedback, and deliver a rich, aggressive exhaust tone. Constructed from premium 409 stainless steel, the exhaust features a high-temperature black powder coating for enhanced corrosion resistance against road salt, moisture, and off-road contaminants, while also providing an improved aesthetic. The head pipe is wrapped in black titanium heat wrap, capable of withstanding over 1000°C, to reduce underbody heat radiation, protecting delicate hoses, wiring, and engine components. This optimized flow and heat management contribute to stable power improvement and smoother vehicle operation, making it ideal for tuned trucks, heavy towing, and off-road use. Installation is estimated to take about 1 hour with basic hand tools. Clamps, hangers, and hardware are included, though some factory hardware may need to be reused.
