The Carrot Tuning SSN001123 is a full turbo back exhaust system, encompassing both the cat-back and downpipe, engineered to enhance performance for specific Volkswagen models. By eliminating the restrictive stock catalytic converter and utilizing larger piping, this system reduces exhaust backpressure, allowing the turbo to spool up and build boost more quickly. This leads to a significant improvement in the vehicle's performance potential, resulting in a free-flowing exhaust system. The main piping diameter is 2.50", with inlet/outlet sizes of 3.75”/2.50” and a 3.00" muffler tip. It includes O2 sensor insertion points, bolts, and metal gaskets. This exhaust system is specifically designed for 1999-2005 Volkswagen Golf MK4 and 1999-2005 Volkswagen Jetta A4 Typ 1J models equipped with 1.8T/1.8L turbocharged engines. It is confirmed to fit Mk4 FWD models with these engines ONLY. Professional installation is highly recommended, as no instructions are included. It's important to note that this part has been identified as not fitting the 2020 Buick Encore Essence 4Cyl 1.4L.
