Turbo-Back Exhaust System 3-Inch T304 Stainless Steel MK6

The Unitronic UH023-EXA Turbo-Back Exhaust System is designed to enhance the performance and sound of the MK6 Jetta/GLI 1.8/2.0 TSI Gen3. The system incorporates a 200-cell metallic matrix high-flow catalytic converter, positioned for maximum efficiency and alignment with the OEM warm-up strategy. It includes a 4-inch corrugated stainless steel flex section to absorb engine movement and prevent stress on mounts, ensuring a leak-proof connection for years. The downpipe features an 80mm to 76.2mm transition to ensure smooth flow from the turbine housing to the 3-inch piping. Engineered for direct bolt-on fitment, the UH023-EXA utilizes all factory exhaust hangers and requires no modifications. It features OEM oxygen sensor placement, eliminating the need for extensions or wiring harness adjustments. The unique v-band fastening system with Clampco® clamps ensures perfect alignment and a leak-proof seal during hard acceleration, with locked v-band rotation to prevent flange movement. Unitronic has integrated Sound Reflection Chamber Technology to cancel unwanted frequencies and Sound Absorption Technology in a perforated chamber packed with high-temperature fiberglass wool to ensure a deep tone and absorb unwanted sound. The system culminates in polished 3.5-inch slash-cut exhaust tips engraved with the Unitronic logo. This turbo-back system is recommended for use with Unitronic Stage 2 software.
