The Unitronic performance turbo-back exhaust system is a precision-engineered upgrade designed specifically for the Volkswagen Golf VIII GTI with the 2.0T Evo4 engine. Utilizing advanced 3D scanning during development, this system ensures a perfect fit within the vehicle's chassis while maximizing exhaust flow and efficiency. The construction features 3-inch T304 stainless steel tubing, TIG-welded for durability, and incorporates a high-performance GESi 5" UHO+ 400cpsi catalytic converter. Key design elements include a unique v-band fastening system with T316 stainless steel flanges and a locking ring to ensure a leak-proof, perfectly aligned connection. The exhaust includes a straight-through, free-flowing muffler equipped with high-density, high-temperature glass fiber packing and Sound Absorption/Reflection technology to balance performance gains with a comfortable in-cabin tone. At the rear, the system features dual 4-inch polished slash-cut tips with engraved logos. Installation is designed as a direct bolt-on process that retains factory mounting points. Please note that this system is developed specifically for the VW Golf VIII GTI 2.0T Evo4 platform. Users should look for future compatibility with upcoming Unitronic downpipes and Stage 2 performance software upgrades. The system is backed by a limited lifetime warranty for the original retail purchaser against manufacturing or craftsmanship defects.
