Designed as a direct fit for turbo EJ Subarus, this blanket aims to prevent heat-related issues in the engine bay. COBB rates the installation effort as "2 - Easy with Basic Tools," indicating that most users with common tools should be able to install it without significant difficulty. This turbo blanket is not an emissions-related part and is therefore compatible with Emission Controlled Vehicles.
