The Forge Motorsport Thermal Blanket is a bespoke heat management solution engineered specifically for the Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.0L. It is constructed from high-temperature silica fabric with a carbon fabric outer shell, capable of withstanding up to 1370°C (2500°F) of radiant heat. This robust construction helps to protect vital engine components, thereby prolonging their lifespan. The innovative design effectively contains exhaust gas heat within the hot side of the turbocharger, isolating it from the cooler intake path and components. This thermal management leads to reduced turbo lag and lower air intake temperatures, ultimately resulting in increased power output. The blanket comes complete with a full stainless steel fitting kit, including stainless steel rivets and eyelets, for straightforward installation.
