The CTS Turbo CTS-IT-270R is a large-bore cold air intake system engineered to enhance airflow for tuned vehicles, specifically for the VW MK7/7.5 Golf/GTI, 2019+ Jetta GLI, and 8V Audi A3/TT equipped with secondary air injection (SAI). This intake system boasts a 3.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent aluminum pipe with a black powder coating, designed to minimize turbulence and ensure smooth entry of cold air into the engine. It utilizes a sealed airbox that integrates with the OEM air scoop to efficiently channel cold air. The high-flow, 3.5-inch reusable air filter features an inverted cone design to maximize air intake. The kit includes 4-ply silicon connectors and stainless steel clamps for a secure fit, along with bracketry to prevent rattling. A billet SAI breather adapter and filter are also included for models requiring SAI. It is compatible with 2015-2021 Volkswagen Golf/AllTrack/Sportwagen, 2015-2021 Volkswagen GTI, 2019-2021 Volkswagen Jetta GLI, 2015-2021 Audi A3, and 2015-2021 Audi TT models when equipped with SAI. Models without SAI include 2015-2020 Audi S3, 2015-2021 Audi TTS, and 2015-2021 Volkswagen Golf R. Peak power gains of 10-15 HP are reported on stock vehicles. It is recommended to disable the Soundaktor (noise amplifier) to fully appreciate the enhanced engine sound and avoid excessive drone.
