Turbo Conversion Kit

The ZZPerformance entry-level turbo swap kit provides the most straightforward method to convert your supercharged LSJ engine to a turbocharged configuration. This comprehensive kit facilitates the replacement of the supercharger with a custom adapter plate and upgrades the exhaust manifold, header, and downpipe to a turbo manifold, turbo, and downpipe system. This kit offers substantial performance advantages, delivering a significant boost in both power and torque across the engine's curve. Specifically, the Stage 2 kit is estimated to yield over 70-90 ft-lbs of additional midrange torque and approximately 50+ whp. The kit includes a choice between a ZZP Z54 turbo (Stage 2) or a ZZP Z57 turbo (Stage 3), a ZZP LSJ Turbo Adapter Plate, ZZP Performance Stainless Exhaust Manifold, cast stainless O2 housing, and a ZZP downpipe with a 2.5" or 3" exit. Also included are intake and charge pipes, silicone couplers, an air filter, an LSJ turbo alternator swap kit, turbo oil and coolant lines, a ZZP boost controller, and optional DeatschWerks 80# Injectors with harness. Gaskets, hardware, vacuum lines, and stainless t-bolt clamps are also provided. ECM flash options include receiving a pre-programmed PCM with a core charge, sending in your existing PCM for flashing, or receiving an email file for users with HPTuners. For optimal performance and fuel system management, running over 15 psi is not recommended with the basic 1.0 ECM flash; a dyno tune or remote tuning with HP Tuners is highly advised. Core file options are for 93 octane fuel only, with E85 tuning available via email file or in-person tuning. The kit includes a ZZP fuel filter. Note that for Ion models, a Cobalt MAF sensor must be purchased separately. Recommended upgrades include a ZZP Stealth heat exchanger (Cobalt) or S3 H/E (Ion), a ZZP Dual Pass Endplate, ZZP Option B Kit, and an LSJ Intercooler Pump.
