The Malian Exhaust MAL-062B is a performance exhaust decat midpipe engineered for turbocharged Mazda MX5 Mk2 and Mk2.5 vehicles equipped with 1.6L or 1.8L engines. This component is designed to integrate with GT25/28 turbo kits, serving as a crucial link pipe in the exhaust system for turbocharged applications. This specific midpipe is tailored for a range of Mazda MX5 models from the Mk2 and Mk2.5 generations. It offers compatibility with the following specific configurations: Mk2 1.6 NB (1998-2000), Mk2 1.8 NB (1998-2000), Mk2.5 1.6 NBFL (2001-2005), and Mk2.5 1.8 NBFL (2001-2005). Its design aims to enhance exhaust flow for boosted engines. As a decat midpipe, this part replaces the catalytic converter, which may have implications for emissions compliance and vehicle inspection regulations depending on your location. It is intended for use as part of a complete turbo exhaust system and may require other components for full installation and optimal performance.
