The EBC Brakes GD1662 is a pair of Turbo Grooved sport brake discs designed for enhanced braking performance and durability. These discs feature a distinctive Turbo Grooved pattern with wider aperture slots that effectively dispel gases, dirt, debris, and carbon deposits, thereby improving overall brake effectiveness and preventing rotor cracking. The discs are also blind drilled to further prevent cracking and are coated with a black Geomet finish for maximum corrosion resistance, ensuring a lasting appearance. Constructed from R90-approved blanks, these brake discs are built to withstand high temperatures, rated to operate up to 800/900°C. The third-generation design promotes cooler operation, even pad wear, and effectively clears the braking surface of contaminants like dirt, mud, and water. Each disc is inspected for runout to guarantee precision and quality. These discs are sold in pairs and are designed for direct OEM fitment on many vehicles, serving as an excellent upgrade for fast street cars and 4x4 vehicles. The specific dimensions include a diameter of 278mm, a height of 43mm, a new thickness of 9mm, and a minimum thickness of 8mm.
