Turbo Inlet Adapter Kit

The Forge Motorsports FMTIA8 is a turbo inlet adaptor engineered to enhance the efficiency and performance of the Toyota Yaris GR's engine. This kit replaces the restrictive OEM pipework with a billet machined turbo adaptor, two durable 5-ply silicone hoses, and a mandrel-bent alloy hard pipe, significantly increasing the intake tract diameter from 48mm to 63mm. Designed for optimal airflow, the FMTIA8 eliminates ribbed areas and noise chambers found in the stock configuration to create the smoothest possible air path to the turbocharger. This velocity stack-like design routes air more directly, allowing for increased air compression and improved acceleration after deceleration or during gear changes due to a larger air volume retained within the intake system. Testing has shown average gains of 4-5 bhp and up to 10 lb-ft of torque when used with an exhaust and tuning box, though figures can vary based on tune calibration and other modifications. The FMTIA8 is designed to work with the OEM airbox and is also compatible with aftermarket intakes, particularly benefiting from the addition of Forge's own carbon inlet duct (FMINLD1) for sustained lower inlet air temperatures during track use. Constructed from 6082 aerospace-grade aluminum with a black anodized finish for durability, this adaptor offers increased capacity, increased airflow, and no engine check lights (EML).
