Description

The Forge Motorsport Turbo Inlet Adaptor is engineered to enhance the performance of the MK3.5 Hyundai i30N and Kona N models. This adaptor addresses a known bottleneck in the stock intake system by replacing the restrictive aluminum inlet pipe with a design that significantly increases capacity and improves airflow to the turbocharger. It is specifically beneficial for vehicles running Stage 1 or Stage 2 tunes, leading to improved throttle response and higher end BHP gains. Constructed from durable 6082 aerospace-grade aluminum and finished with a black anodizing for protection, the adaptor also features a high-flow silicone inlet pipe with a fluorosilicone inner liner. The design incorporates principles similar to a velocity stack, directing air more efficiently into the turbocharger to allow for increased compression. This turbo inlet adaptor is exclusively compatible with 4-inch (102mm) intakes and will not fit the stock airbox or OEM intake systems. It is designed for a perfect fit with Forge Motorsport's own 4-inch induction kits but can also be compatible with other manufacturers' intakes that feature a 102mm inlet pipe. Installation is straightforward, typically taking around 45 minutes, with comprehensive instructions provided.
