Turbo Inlet Adaptor and Intake Tract

The Forge Motorsport Turbo Inlet Adaptor and Intake Tract (TIA11) is engineered for the Hyundai i20N, serving as a direct plug-and-play upgrade. This kit features a cast turbo inlet adaptor, CNC-machined couplers, and a high-flow silicone hose. The inlet elbow size is increased by over 170% to maximize airflow to the turbo, reducing turbulence caused by the restrictive OEM plastic hose. Unlike aluminum pipes that can suffer from heat soak and diminishing gains on the dyno, the silicone hose maintains consistent temperature and performance over multiple pulls. The TIA11 is designed to fit directly with the factory airbox or Forge's FMINDK45 performance intake solution. It functions similarly to a velocity stack, routing air efficiently into the turbocharger and increasing its compression capacity. This leads to improved acceleration after deceleration and quicker response between gear changes by retaining more air within the intake system. Dyno testing conducted with Performance Remap showed an increase of nearly 7 BHP and 12 NM of torque when used with the OEM airbox and filter. Significant gains are observed across the entire rev range, enhancing responsiveness. When paired with the FMINDK45 induction kit, peak gains increased to 12 BHP and 20 NM of torque. Further performance increases are expected with ECU tuning. The product comes with a Lifetime Warranty. Forge Motorsport recommends this part for the Hyundai i20N 1.6 T-GDi N (2020-2025). It is explicitly stated that this part is only suitable for the N 1.6 engine and will not fit other vehicles, such as the Kia Proceed GT (2019).
