Turbo Inlet Hose

The Cobb Tuning Turbo Inlet Hose is crafted from 4-ply steel-reinforced silicone, designed to be a direct replacement for the stock plastic component in your Mazdaspeed3 or Mazdaspeed6. This construction effectively rejects high engine bay temperatures, ensuring intake air remains closer to ambient. The steel wire reinforcement prevents the common issue of hose collapse under vacuum, while allowing for necessary flex between the engine and intake. Engineered with a true taper design and a uniform interior lining, this hose eliminates abrupt diameter changes found in lesser designs. The result is a smooth, unrestricted airflow path directly to the turbo inlet, which can contribute to increased power and improved engine responsiveness. Installation is straightforward, requiring only simple tools and no vehicle modifications, with all necessary hardware included. This turbo inlet hose is 50-state legal with a CARB Executive Order (EO) number D-660-86. Please note that tuning is required for proper operation, and compatible Off-The-Shelf (OTS) Maps are available from Cobb Tuning. The available color options are traditional Cobb Blue and Stealth Black.
