The 034Motorsport Turbo Inlet Pipe is engineered to optimize power output by removing a critical restriction in the intake path of 1.8T and 2.0T MQB engines. This essential upgrade is crafted from 70mm thin-wall 6061-T6 aluminum, ensuring maximum airflow capacity. The compressor inlet flange is precisely machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum to facilitate a smooth transition of air into the compressor housing. Furthermore, 6061-T6 billet aluminum is utilized for the PCV hose fitting and to maintain the original mounting provisions, ensuring seamless integration. This component is finished with a durable black wrinkle-coat for long-lasting aesthetics and includes a laser-etched 034 logo. Flow bench testing indicates that the optimized volume and smooth transition of this inlet pipe result in substantially higher airflow compared to OEM and competitor products, which can translate into increased horsepower and torque gains in high-airflow applications.
